Our Story
The journey of SOTWE Global from humble beginnings to today.
The Birth of SOTWE – A Divine Mandate
1. The Prophetic Foundation
The story of SERVANTS OF THE WORD ECCLESIA (SOTWE) is one of divine orchestration, legacy, and prophetic fulfillment.
It all began with a Divine Encounter that Rev. Evangelist Daniel Fombang, the biological father and spiritual mentor of Prophet Samuel Fombang (Founder of SOTWE), had with the Lord.
In this encounter, the Lord revealed to Rev. Daniel the name "SERVANTS OF THE WORD", declaring:
"This is a Global Revival Movement that will come out of you and serve as a forerunner to My Return in the Last Days."
This divine revelation was given years before Prophet Samuel was born, marking the beginning of a generational covenant between God and the Fombang family.
2. The Call and Confirmation
Many years later, in 2020, while Prophet Samuel Fombang was in Ukraine, he entered a season of fasting, prayer, and deep seeking after God.
During that sacred time, the Lord spoke clearly to him, saying:
"You shall start a ministry and shall call it 'SERVANTS OF THE WORD.' Through it, you shall go round the world preaching the Gospel, reconciling men to Me, and preparing the Church for the Rapture."
Filled with excitement and holy reverence, Prophet Samuel immediately contacted his father to share this divine instruction.
Upon hearing it, Rev. Daniel Fombang was astonished and moved to tears. He called his son and said:
"Years before you were born, the Lord spoke to me and gave me this same name — 'SERVANTS OF THE WORD.' He said: 'This is a ministry that will come out of you.'"
He then shared with his son the Bible reference Luke 1:2, which — to their amazement — was the exact same scripture God had revealed to Prophet Samuel during his encounter.
In that moment, Rev. Daniel understood the meaning of God's earlier words:
"This is a ministry that will come out of you."
It was now clear that the Lord was referring to the fact that He would have a son, Prophet Samuel, through whom this prophetic ministry would be birthed.
3. The Birth of ECCLESIA
Shortly after, the Lord spoke again to Prophet Samuel Fombang, saying:
"Raise a Remnant for Me in your time — a chosen people fully devoted to Me and My cause."
From this divine instruction came the name ECCLESIA, meaning "The Called Out Ones."
Thus, SERVANTS OF THE WORD ECCLESIA (SOTWE) was established — a prophetic movement commissioned to awaken the nations, raise a holy remnant, and prepare the Church for the soon return of Jesus Christ.
The ministry was officially founded in Paris, France, under the leadership of Prophet Samuel Fombang, as the fulfillment of a vision birthed decades earlier through his father, Rev. Evangelist Daniel Fombang.
4. From a Vision to a Global Movement
What began as a divine encounter between father and son has now become a global revival movement.
From its inception, SOTWE has been drawing men and women from all nations and walks of life — transforming hearts, restoring destinies, and equipping believers for greatness, all while preparing the Church for the Rapture.
The first on-site service of SOTWE was held on Sunday, 5th May 2024, at 3:00 PM in France, with six people in attendance — three adults and three children.
From that humble beginning, the ministry has continued to grow rapidly, spreading its impact across continents. Today, the world bears witness to the fulfillment of the vision God entrusted to His servants, Evangelist Daniel and Prophet Samuel Fombang.

Samuel Faithful Fombang
A man sent to from God
Overview
Samuel Faithful Fombang is a prophetic voice to the nations — a man sent from God with a divine mandate to reconcile men to Him, desciple them and prepare the Church for the Rapture. His life is a testimony of supernatural encounters, obedience, and a passion for salvation.
Biography & Life Story
A Child Born by Prophecy
Prophet Samuel Faithful Fombang was announced by prophecy even before his conception. His father, Evangelist Daniel Fombang, received a word from the Lord: "I will send a Prophet to the world through you. You shall name him Samuel Faithful..."
Some time later, God spoke again: "The Prophet I told you about is now in your wife's womb." When Evangelist Daniel told his wife Emilia she was pregnant, she denied it, saying this wasn't her first pregnancy — so if she was she would have known. Yet, a doctor soon confirmed what God had spoken.
On Tuesday, March 13, 2001, he was born.
Naming of the Prophet
Filled with joy at the birth of a son, Evangelist Daniel Fombang decided to name the child after himself — "Daniel Junior." But his wife quickly reminded him of the Lord's word spoken before the child's conception: "You shall name him Samuel Faithful."
In that moment, his father realized he had nearly altered the divine plan out of fatherly joy. Obediently, he named the child "Samuel Faithful," just as the Lord had commanded. This simple yet profound act by his mother preserved his destiny — for the name Samuel Faithful would go on to define his calling and shape his life's purpose.
Early Dedication and Upbringing
Dedicated to the Lord at one week old by Rev. Dr. Daniel Mbiwan (Emeritus General Superintendent, Full Gospel Mission, Cameroon), Samuel grew under his father Rev. Evangelist Daniel Fombang's mentorship — accompanying him to crusades, learning ministry, and being raised with a strong emphasis on consecration and the Word.
A Gift for Service
From his earliest days, his parents noticed his extraordinary pull toward music. Wherever a sound played, he followed—captivated by every rhythm and melody. At church services and crusades, he was always found near the musicians, watching intently.
Seeing his passion, his parents bought him a traditional drum at age three, which he played joyfully during family devotions and Sunday school. By five, he asked for a piano, and as he practiced daily, God blessed him with an exceptional musical gift. At just six years old, he became his church’s main keyboardist, playing not only at home but also at crusades across villages and towns in Cameroon.
From childhood until now, he has faithfully used his musical gift in service to the Lord.
A Shepherd in Training
From childhood, Samuel’s life was woven into the rhythms of the farm. He walked beside his father to plant in the fields, ventured out on hunting trips, and learned the quiet discipline of tending animals. Goats, rabbits, pigs, dogs, fowls—each became part of his daily responsibility. Recognising Samuel’s deep affection for animals, his father one day bought him a calf—a gift he cherished deeply. Each morning, Samuel would lead it up the hill to graze, caring for it with unwavering devotion.
What appeared to be ordinary moments of a rural upbringing were, in truth, the foundation of something far greater. Like the young David in Scripture, Samuel would one day look back and recognize that God had been shaping him all along—teaching him stewardship, compassion, and faithfulness. Those early lessons became preparation for a higher calling: to watch over, guide, and serve God’s people.
A Prophetic Declaration
At the age of seven, his father spoke a prophetic word over his life: “You will be like Benson Idahosa.”
Samuel embraced this declaration wholeheartedly. With deep devotion, he committed himself to learning from Archbishop Benson Idahosa, who became a profound mentor and spiritual influence in his life. From that moment on, Samuel pursued his calling in ministry with unwavering passion and zeal.
Salvation And New Birth
At the age of ten, Samuel attended a meeting of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), where he responded to Pastor Enoch Adeboye's altar call and gave his life to Christ. He was the youngest among those who came forward to receive the Lord.
During the prayer, Pastor Adeboye prophesied, saying, "Among you young men who have just surrendered your lives to Christ are those God will use for the end-time revival."
Samuel received this word deeply in his spirit. For three days, he could neither eat nor think of anything else — his heart was overflowing with joy. He spent those days smiling, singing, and playing his piano, praising God for saving his soul.
Early Missions
Samuel's father and mentor, Rev. Evangelist Daniel Fombang, was deeply involved in missions and continually established new church branches. Beginning at the age of twelve, Samuel was regularly sent to support the pastors appointed to these new congregations. His responsibilities included playing the piano, training the choirs, and helping build a solid foundation for worship. After completing each assignment, he returned to the main church—only to be sent out again whenever a new branch was opened, faithfully repeating this ministry work.
Spiritual Growth
At fourteen, Samuel was baptized by immersion in the Full Gospel Mission Cameroon, the ministry in which he was born and raised. He later received the baptism of the Holy Spirit under the ministry of his father, Rev. Daniel Fombang. From that moment forward, his spiritual gifts began to manifest at a higher and more profound level.
Youthful Lust and God's Grace
In his teenage years, Samuel faced the pressures and temptations of the world. For a time, he gave in—only to discover that nothing the world offered could truly satisfy. Instead, it left him empty, burdened with guilt and sorrow.
In a moment of brokenness and repentance, he cried out to God:
"Lord, I know I'll never preach again—just let me serve You on the keyboard."
But God's response was filled with love and purpose:
"I love you, and I will use you in your generation. Set yourself apart for Me."
That divine encounter changed everything. Grace restored what guilt had stolen. Samuel rose renewed—with a fresh fire to live set apart, to serve with passion, and to reach his generation with the transforming power of Jesus Christ.
A Knockdown For A Lifting Up
At eighteen, Samuel faced profound disappointments while pursuing his academic and football ambitions in Europe. Those difficult seasons brought him to a personal crisis and a diagnosis of depression, for which a doctor prescribed medication. In that valley of despair, however, Samuel chose a different path—he secluded himself in his room, fasting, praying, and weeping daily for God's help. Little did he know that this season of brokenness was divinely orchestrated—not to destroy him, but to realign his path and awaken within him a renewed, deeply intimate relationship with God unlike anything he had experienced before.
The Divine Encounter in Nigeria & YWAGH
During the COVID-19 lockdown in Abuja (a planned short trip that became months long), the Lord called him to raise an army of youths. The Global Youth Revival Movement — Youths With A Goal Heaven (YWAGH) — was birthed, leading daily online prayer sessions and intercession for nations.
A Miraculous Return and a New Season
After difficulties while stranded, Samuel was eventually flown back to Cameroon on an evacuation flight. Later he traveled to Europe to join a football club and university, served in Christ Embassy as an instrumentalist, and felt the Lord calling him into full-time ministry.
"Lay aside your football career and studies, and become a full-time preacher."
A Sign from Heaven & Obedience
Samuel asked the Lord for a confirmation saying, "If You want me to abandon everything and serve You as a full-time minister, grant me a scholarship to a Bible school in the United States." The Lord graciously did so as a sign; however, He instructed Samuel to decline the offer, remain in Europe, and continue serving under Pastor Chris Oyakhilome's ministry, Christ Embassy — which he faithfully obeyed.
A Divine Encounter with Jesus
During a season of deep spiritual pursuit to know the Lord more intimately, Jesus appeared to Samuel and took him to the top of a mountain where they both stood.
Suddenly, from the valley below, a few dry, dirty, brown cows began ascending toward them. As they climbed higher, they became cleaner, healthier, and whiter. Soon, the few became a multitude, until the entire mountain was covered with these transformed cows.
Then Jesus said to him, "These are the youths of your generation whom I am bringing to Myself and anointing you as a priest over them."
From that encounter was birthed his life's mandate and personal slogan: "My generation must serve the Lord."
Ordination, Prophecy & Global Movement
After several years of dedicated mentorship and faithful service, Samuel was ordained as a Prophet and Evangelist. Continuing his leadership of YWAGH, he ministered from his room in Ukraine—preaching the Gospel and releasing prophetic words over nations through various media platforms.
In February 2022, following the Russian invasion of Ukraine—an event he had previously prophesied—the Lord divinely led Samuel to relocate to France, ushering in a new season of ministry.
Encounters & Confirmation
Over the years, he experienced profound prophetic encounters with esteemed men of God across the world, through which his calling was affirmed as he received prophetic words, prayers, and blessings for his mission. These encounters were not mere coincidences but rather the fulfillment of what the Lord had revealed to him in visions years earlier.
New Ministry
In early 2024, led by the Holy Spirit and guided by his spiritual leaders and pastors at Christ Embassy, where he faithfully served, he founded Servants of the Word Ecclesia (Word Embassy). A global revival movement with the mandate of Reconciliation and Discipleship in preparation for the Rapture.
Seasons of Testing
Soon after launching the ministry in France, Samuel entered a deep season of spiritual opposition—facing betrayal, false accusations, and resistance from unexpected places. Yet the Lord instructed him to stay silent, defend nothing, and answer only with prayer. Samuel chose to bless those who opposed him and entrusted everything to God. In time, the Lord revealed the truth, and he was vindicated. This to him was a clear testament of God's faithfulness.
Transition
In October 2024, God directed Samuel to bring his assignment in France to a close and relocate to Belgium—just as the Lord had shown him years earlier in a vision: "From Ukraine you will go to France, and from France to Belgium." In obedience, Samuel moved to Belgium where he joined the RCCG, and served faithfully, including as a keyboardist.
After a season of joyful service, the Lord spoke again: "Now I will send you to your world, to fulfill the mission I have for you."
Apostolic Activation & Global Doors
In a night vision, Samuel received a prophetic word that his mantle would be activated at the age of twenty-four
On his twenty-fourth birthday, God, faithful to His promise, brought this prophecy to fulfillment after a significant encounter he had on that day.
Since then, Samuel has journeyed across nations, carrying a divine message of reconciliation and discipleship, preparing men for the Rapture and Second Coming of the Lord Jesus Christ
